Terms of use.

Refined Scan is a free AI-assisted tool that identifies aesthetic concerns from a selfie and suggests treatments offered at Refined Medical Aesthetics. It is a conversation starter, not a medical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment plan.

Any treatment requires an in-person consultation with Rachel, an NMC-registered nurse practitioner, who will perform her own assessment. Her professional judgement is the only valid basis for any treatment.

You must be 18 or older to use Refined Scan. If we detect an underage face in a scan, the result is blocked.

Your selfie is processed by Anthropic's Claude Vision AI, which identifies common aesthetic features (e.g. expression lines, volume distribution, skin texture). The model is conservative and is instructed not to diagnose medical conditions. AI output is not perfect — it may miss things, or flag things that aren't relevant to you. Rachel's in-person assessment is what counts.

The scan is free. Treatment prices shown in your report are indicative starting prices. Your final price will be confirmed by Rachel during consultation.

No purchase is made through Refined Scan. Bookings made directly with Rachel are subject to the clinic's cancellation policy, which will be shared at booking.

We provide Refined Scan "as is". We make no representations that the scan will identify every concern, that recommendations will be right for you, or that the service will be available without interruption. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the scan beyond what is required by law.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

You agree not to:

• Use the scan on anyone other than yourself
• Use the service for harassment, fraud, or impersonation
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security, or age checks
• Scrape, mirror, or republish content from the service

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
